Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data wallets.page collects, why, who processes it for us and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller is Artsiom Khamiakou (JDG), ul. Straganiarska 20/22/35, 80-837 Gdańsk, Poland, NIP 8982278013. Contact: info@wallets.page.

2. What we collect now: the waitlist

When you join the waitlist we store:

• your email address;
• your language (English or Russian, from the page you used);
• the positioning variant of the page you signed up on;
• the source of the visit (a campaign tag in the link, if any);
• the referrer origin (only the site you came from, never the full address);
• the signup time.

Purpose: to email you when wallets.page opens and to learn which messages and channels work. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us. Retention: until you ask us to delete it, and no longer than 12 months after public launch unless you create an account.

3. What we will collect from authors

When accounts open, we will store for page owners only what the service needs:

• email address and a password hash (never the password itself);
• login sessions and a login history with IP addresses, kept for 90 days;
• the content of your page: username, display name, addresses, payment details and the wallet signatures that prove them.

Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in keeping accounts and payers safe (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security logs and abuse prevention. Your public page is public by design. When you delete your account we delete your page and its history, except records we must keep by law.

4. Payers are not tracked

We never collect personal data about people who view or pay to a page. Public author pages set no cookies, load no analytics or advertising scripts and no third-party fonts or code. Page owners see only aggregated counts (for example, how many times an address was copied), never who did it. Payments happen in the payer’s own wallet or bank; we do not see them.

5. Processors

These providers process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): servers and databases, hosted in the EU.
• Cloudflare, Inc.: DNS, content delivery and protection against attacks for our websites; it handles IP addresses of requests in transit.
• PostHog Cloud EU (PostHog Inc., data stored in the EU): error tracking and aggregated product analytics on the landing pages and the author dashboard only, configured without cookies. Public author pages never load it. One PostHog project serves our live and test environments; events are labelled by environment.

When accounts and paid plans open we will add email delivery (Amazon Web Services, EU region) and billing (Paddle, as merchant of record for Pro), and update this policy first. If a provider processes data outside the EU, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Cookies

The landing and legal pages set no cookies. When accounts open, the dashboard will use one strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@wallets.page; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) or the authority in your country.

We will publish changes here with a new date and email registered users about material changes.
